In November 2010, Shaner Capital acquired a fifty-three unit condominium project located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania suburb of Fox Chapel. A wholly-owned subsidiary was formed to hold, improve, develop, and sell the condominium units. The first unit was sold in April, 2013 with many more under contract.
In October 2011, Shaner Capital acquired a 49.11 percent limited partnership interest in Hydro Recovery, LP. Located in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, the company uses a unique and environmentally conscious process to treat residual wastewater from the Marcellus Shale natural gas drilling and production process, and converts it into a recycled, customized product which can be reused by drillers in future operations.
In November 2011, Shaner Capital formed a 95 percent-owned subsidiary to acquire Metal Foundations, a Pittsburgh based company specializing in the design, engineering, and installation of metal fin pipe foundations. The corporate name has been changed to Shaner Industries LLC. It provides a safe, fast, efficient, and effective alternative to a concrete foundation by utilizing a patented design and installation procedure that allows the installation of foundation and structure to occur within the same day. The company is uniquely positioned to serve the alternative energy (solar and wind), border fence, power distribution, civil project, airport, highway, and road markets.
In January 2012, Shaner Capital, in partnership with G. M. McCrossin, Inc., and Bolton USA Corp, formed Navitus, LLC. The company acquired the former Cerro Metals plant located in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. The company is currently refurbishing the property and overseeing environmental cleanup of the site which includes approximately 500,000 square feet under roof.
Titan Energy Park provides industrial, commercial, and office rental space. The site includes amenities such as rail siding (indoor and outdoor), overhead bridge cranes, multiple loading docks and laydown yards, and an on-site water treatment plant.
In March, 2012, Shaner Bahamas LP was formed to develop and own the resort style, 30 unit French Leave Harbour Village project on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The resort opened in December 2014, with four villas available for booking and additional development is planned.
In March, 2012, Shaner Capital committed to a 50% ownership in the development of the Courtyard St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach.
This hotel and marina opened in February 2015 and is located on the Intracoastal Waterway just steps from the beach. Many of the hotel’s 90 guest rooms feature spectacular water views. Guests can enjoy watching the dolphins, fish and an occasional manatee from the hotel’s patio and pool deck. The hotel’s signature restaurant The Bistro serves breakfast, cocktails and dinner, with indoor and al fresco seating. In October, 2012, Shaner Capital committed to a 50% ownership in the development of The Playa Largo Resort & Spa, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel. Perfectly situated on 14 secluded beachfront acres boasting sweeping views of Florida Bay, the hotel will offer 155 luxury rooms, suites and Bungalows with Florida Bay and eco-rich island views.

In July, 2014, Shaner Capital committed to a 50% ownership in the development of single family and multi-family residences in Key Largo, FL.
In November, 2014, Shaner Capital committed to a 33% ownership in the development of a hotel at One Daytona, a premier entertainment, dining and retail destination which will be located directly across from the legendary Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, FL. It will include world-class shopping, dining, accommodations, and entertainment just steps from the “World Center of Racing”.
